Alabama – Huntsville

Huntsville is known as Rocket City because of its association with the U.S. space program.

Arkansas – Little Rock

The capital and largest city of Arkansas, Little Rock is set almost slap bang in the centre of the state, on the banks of the Arkansas River, it now acts as an important cultural, economic, and transport hub for the region.

Kentucky – Louisville

Named for King Louis XVI, Louisville was founded on the Falls of Ohio in 1778, making it one of the oldest towns west of the Appalachians. Louisville is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby

Louisiana – New Orleans

New Orleans, or the Big Easy, is truly unlike anywhere else in the U.S.. It is a pinch of Creole, a dash of Cajun, a spoonful of Southern and a whole lot of French. 

Mississippi – Natchez

Set in the southwest corner of the state, Natchez lies perched atop a prominent bluff overlooking the Mississippi River.

Missouri – St Louis & Route 66

Historic Route 66 runs more than 480 kilometers through Missouri to St Louis and its presided over by the iconic Gateway Arch, which dominates and defines the city’s skyline, St. Louis is a lovely yet laidback place to visit.

North Carolina – Asheville

The town of Asheville, which is set in the beautiful Blue Ridge Foothills, enjoys a reputation for being a vibrant, artsy community.
